I. Love. Libraries. I love the community that they create. I love the books, the potential that hides in each one and the look of wonder on the face of the patron who discovers it. I love technology, exploring the next big idea and helping others navigate through it. I love advocating for libraries as I believe that they are still essential and relevant to public schools.
Librarianship and Education are the umbrella that my life’s task falls under. My niche is still being developed and named. I have an Masters in Education/Library Science and a Masters in Instructional Design...so Library/Technology mixed with helping students find their obsessions through instruction designed for them (personalized learning) and throwing a bit of makerspace geekery in there for fun…yeah. That's just about right.
My husband and I (along with our miniature schnauzer - Lupin - who is the cutest thing in the world) are currently exploring Williston, ND and the surrounding area, learning about the oil field life and the growing pains that are still happening in the wild west of North Dakota.
